Microtubules are dynamic polymers of αβ-tubulin that have essential roles organizing the insides of cells and orchestrating proper segregation of genetic material during cell division. TheRiceLab uses structure, biochemistry, reconstitution, microscopy, computer modeling, and more to study the molecular mechanisms that generate and regulate microtubule dynamics.
